I have realised I need to simplify. My PhD keeps threatening to spiral out of control. I figured if I write the goals of my blog here I may actually stand a chance of realising them:
- get insights/critique from other anthropology bloggers
- engage bloggers on environmental sustainability issues
- to have a blogged record of the PhD process
Ok, three simple and straightforward goals. Riiiiiight.
Interesting. Are there sub goals or questions? This inquiring mind has trouble imagining PhDs are that simple. She would need to visualise yours in some sort of mind map. Or is it secret?
TM, you guess correctly. There are other goals, but they relate to the broader goals of the PhD. They are not a secret, but this list is centred on the blog itself. The goals of the PhD are related, and these will appear in the blog as I work through them. For instance, I am going to look into the changing relationship between digital texts and constructions of knowledge relating to environmental sustainability. Stay tuned…
